Today I wanted to share with you some really cute things that I have made using the Nursery Suite Designer Series Specialty paper and the coordinating Nursery Suite Quick Accents adhesive die cuts.
My kids are no longs babies (as they like to remind me), but I Iiked these sets so much that I had to find a way to use them.
For my daughter (who just turned 9) I made a scrapbook that I can put her most adorable baby pictures in
It is done with paper bags! Pretty fantastic! There are pockets and flaps and spot for journalling. I cannot wait to pick picture with her and tell all sorts of embarrassing stories.
I also made her a really cute butterfly mobile for her room. She has hung it by her wondow so that the breeze makes them fly.
I used the butterfly and petal cone dies and my big shot (love it!) to cut out the shapes. I added some ink and pearls (of course) and she loves it!
For my youngest son, I made a really cute frame and photo block. He was so happy to see them and immediately cleaned off the top of his dresser to have a "safe spot for them". Had I known he would clean I would have made these sooner.
Sorry about the glare from the flash. Photography is not one of my strong suits.
I chose 4 pictures for this block. Each one represent a different age group for him. He is only 6 so really it is almost one picture from each year. This one is one of my favorites. He was loving his chocolate bunny so much, but when we couldn't stand the goo anymore, we took it away. Man! Was he cheese off! So, naturally, I snapped a pic.
Anyway, even with all that I have made, I still have lots of the paper and die cuts left!
Thanks for stopping by.
Sherri
