Part Deux

Me again!

Happy to see you again.

Today I have another project from the workshop I did.  The ladies all got to make one of these fun cards.

This fantastic bright card uses two of my favorite things.  I love the Pom Pom trim and the stamp set Bring on the Cake from the current mini.  I am going to miss them so much when they go.  One of the best hings about this card, is that if you purchase what you need to make it (and many many others), you get the Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon and Buttons pack for free.  FREE!!!!!

The bad news is that this offer (and all other Sale-A-Bration products) end on March 31.  Now, don't be sad, there is still time to get yours too. :)  Contact me today and you could be doing the dance of joy very soon.

Thanks for stopping by,

Sherri

Workshop Wonders

Hello again,

Last month a one of my stamping friends hosted a workshop for some of her friends.  I wanted to share with you some one of the great projects that I showed the gals.

I like to show how Stampin' Up products are suited to both the needs of the scrap booker and the needs of the card maker (and everyone in between).

First, I showed them how to make a cute but simple scrap book page.

Isn't it nice?  I love this color combination.  It is Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo and Chocolate Chip.  I used the stamp set Flight of the Butterfly to stamp an embellishment and to create a background on two of the photo mats.  Of course, I jazzed it up up with just a little ribbon and a string of Basic Rhinestone.

Next I showed them how to use all those same supplies to make a card.

Isn't this card cute too?  And yes, it uses only the same products as the page.  They loved this idea, and my friend was so grateful to have these.  As the hostess, she received (among many other great gifts) all the projects that I demoed that night.

If you would like to host a workshop with me, please contact me and we can set up a time for you and your friends to have fun too.

Thanks for stopping by,

Sherri

I have a theory - aka- More science facts

Hello all,

I think that I have discovered a new science fact.  It would seem, that the half life of a camera's battery is inversely proportional to the amount of photos you need to load on to your desktop.  So, the more pictures that I have, the shorter my battery seems to last.  To top it all off, the camera will not work even if it is plugged in to the computer.

Science is hard.

Either that, or my camera has it in for me.

And, the title reminds me of this Monty Python sketch that always makes me laugh.  Wanna see?

Anyway . .   The point is, I have lots of cute projects to share, but they are stuck on my camera.  So no luck until the little charge light on my battery charger is off.

Until then, I did make a very nice My Digital Studio page with some older photos of my little ones.

Isn't it nice?  I love spending time on My Digital Studio.  This page only took a few minutes, so that has left me a lot more time to fiddle with other projects.

Thanks for stopping by.
