Hello, hello!
Phew, I have been busy, again. We have had a few nice weather days and we have been trying to get as much yard work done as possible. I have all my veggies in and some of my flower garden done. It is going to be a yummy summer!
On the stamping front, I have been having a lot of fun. I am participating in a Trade Fair on Friday, June 11 at the Lethbridge Senior Citizen Organization so I have been making a lot of fun items to display and sell. I am so excited about it. I would love for you to come and see me there.
One of the projects I made is this stamped candle.
I used the Circle Circus stamp set for this project. To be honest I did not this stamp set when I first saw it. But, I have been using it quite a bit and have come to love it! It is so versatile and works nice for many occasions. Just look how cute it turned out here.
To make these candles, you stamp your images on a piece of tissue paper (cut to the size of your candle). Lay your tissue over your candle and use your heat/embossing gun to gently melt the wax. the tissue will absorb the wax and when it cools it will "disappear" onto the candle.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
I am off to stamp more, but . . .
Thanks for stopping by.
Sherri
