For (some of) my Stampin' friends

Hello!

First of all, I am going to have a small, tiny rant.  Please bear with me, and offer me some sympathy.

IT IS STILL SNOWING!!!!!!!  Grrrrrrrr.

Those of you who live here in Southern Alberta know the pain I am feeling.  Thanks.  That is out of my system now.

Second,

GO RIDERS!!!!!

Now, what you are probably here for.

I had my last stamping session the my Stamper 10 group at my friend Lisa's house.  Every Christmas I try to make them all a card and a little gift.  This year I gave them each one of these glitter ornaments that I made.

They are so pretty and sparkly!  I also made two different card styles that I gave with the ornaments.

This one is made using the Christmas Postcard stamp and the cracked glass technique.

This card is a little simpler (ok, a lot simpler), but still very pretty.  It is shimmered on the card base, but it doesn't show up well in the pics.  Actually, both cards are pretty and shimmery and look sooooooo much better in real life.  I promise.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

Delightfully Digital

Whew!  It was tough picking a title for this post.

Hello.  I hope you all are well.  Me?  I'm great!  Thanks for asking.

I thought that since it had been a while since I shared anything digital with you I would show you something new.

Isn't this pretty?  I love the Deck the Halls and all the pretty vintage sets that we have this year.  I also love that even though I created this project digitally, everything can be made "in real life" too.

If you have ever thought of doing what I do or owning My Digital Studio, then there is a fantastic new offer from Stampin' Up!  It really is Simply Amazing!

Stampin' Up! is offering both versions of the Demonstrator Starter Kit for 50% off!  Unheard of!   So, if you wanted My Digital Studio you could sign up to be a demonstrator, choose the Digital+ Starter kit, and for $1.00 more than the price of My Digital Studio (yep, just one more dollar) you can get everything else included in the kit.  You will be getting over $385.00 worth of product, including My Digital Studio, for only $107.50.  This offer expires November 30, 2010 so contact me soon to join me in the fun of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by.

Blog Revamp!

Hi!

Over the next few days you will see a few changes to the way my blog looks.  Only improvements, I promise.  For now, check out the Classes and Events page.  I had planned to add pictures of the class samples, but my order is sitting at the border waiting for clearance.

More to come!

Punch Drunk

Hi, my name is Sherri, and I am a punchaholic.  I love Stampin' Up!'s punches.  I have a lot of them (not all, so there is some hope for me still).  I love that it is a crisp clean way to cut out an image or a shape.  I love that I don't have to perfect my paper trimming techniques.  Most of all, I LOVE finding new ways to use them.

So, some fellow demonstrators and myself threw an event for World Card Day and I was tasked with creating some masculine punch art cards.  I played and CASEd and tweaked and came up with these.

Isn't this a pretty little fish?  It's the ornament punch!

A perfect card for the handyman in your life.  The brushed silver cardstock makes great tool heads.

Cute little banana split card.  Thank you Heather for the inspiration!

This little robot is my favorite!  Some of the girls used other sentiments.  I think my friend Kim's choice was the best.  She picked "I like you".  One of the best things about this card was that all those little pieces were punched out with Stampin' Up!'s Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets on the back of them.  There was no messy sticky fingers!  FANTASTIC!!!!!!

I may offer this as a class in the New Year.

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by.
