Perfect Punched Posies!

Hello again!  Summer has been keeping me fairly busy, but BOY am I ever having fun.  I wanted to share with you a make a take project that my customers did at my open Rubber Sale/Open House.  I designed this cute little box of cards using the Bitty Box and Envelope die and the Punched Posies stamped set in the Summer Mini.

I gotta say, I love this set!  I love how fun and fresh it looks.  I especially love how it coordinates with all of Stampin' Up!'s punches.  This set is only available to the end of August with a qualifying order or workshop.  So, if you love it like I do, then contact me and we will work together so you can earn it too.  I did collage stamping on Whisper White cardstock and then ran them through the die with the Big Shot (LOVE IT!) to get my own Designer Paper envelopes.  I love doing collage stamping.  It is a fantastic way to make you own designer paper that matches your stamp set or project perfectly.

There will be more on collage stamping in an upcoming post, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Good "F" Words

Family, friends, farmer's market, and Flower Fancy.  All these things have kept me from here for the past two weeks.  Two Weeks!?  Has it really been that long?  It has been a busy, but fun two weeks for me.  We had some friends from out of town that came for a visit, and then some family, and I have also been taking part in our local Farmer's Market, which has been a hot but rewarding experience.  I have had a great time seeing everyone, but it will be nice to just catch up on laundry.  I am sure you all know what I mean.  Anyway, on to the stamping.  The final "F" word.  Flower Fancy.

My cousin is getting married this weekend and I made a beautiful mini album and matching card for her.  I some of the retired wedding scrapbook kit that I had leftover and added one of her wedding colors (Elegant Eggplant).

I love how this turned out.  The addition of the Elegant Eggplant (and a little extra bling, and texture) really make this album something special.  I know my cousin will love it as much as I do.

Here is a closer view of the card.  I used the Top Note Die and my Big Shot (love it!) to create a stylish background layer.  I used my go to set (Teeny Tiny Wishes) to add a wedding sentiment, but honestly, this card could be adapted to almost any occasion you need it for.  Teeny Tiny Wishes is one of my favorite sets.  It has everything I need in it to complete a card.

So, what do YOU think?  Leave me a comment if you like it.

Have a great day.

T is for Teacher - - - -gifts

Wow!  School has officially been out for a week!  We made it through the whole year and it was (for the most part) a really great year.  I wanted to share with you some of the teacher gifts I made.

One of Andrew's teachers really likes tea, so I made her a cute little tea holder card and matching coaster set.

I used the beautiful new Level 1 hostess set Because I Care.  I love this set.  You can earn this set now by hosting a qualifying workshop or placing an order of $200 or more.

For Andrew's other teacher we gave a desk set a votive holder and a double lollie plant.

They both loved their gifts and Andrew even admitted that I "helped" lol.

Have a great day and . . .
