I can´t send it like that!

My daughter and her class are preparing for their First Communion and as part of the lessons the teacher has asked that each student bring some pictures from their baptism.  Now, I could have just printed them out and handed them in, but why?  Why stop there?  I decided to make a digital scrapbook layout for her to bring.  To some it may sound a little obsessive, but if you are a stamper and reading this (from a cluttered craft desk), then I know you will understand.

So, here is my daughter´s "homework".

Soooo pretty and so easy using My Digital Studio.  I hope I get an A.

I love new stuff!

But really, who doesn´t.  I have had my new stamps and accesories from the Sale-A-Bration and Occasions Mini catalogs for a couple of weeks and have been making some very cute things with them.  At our regular meeting at my upline´s house we did a card swap using at least one product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  Here is the cute card I made to swap:

I have been feeling very sick of winter and am eager to see the robins come home, so, I just stamped some.  Aren´t they cute?  Yes, they are.  So, for SAB products I used the Whimsical Words stamp set (in clear mount, LOVE IT) and the Scallop Trim Border punch (also LOVE the new punch style).  I also used the movers and shapers die and the scallop circle die with my Big Shot along with the curly label punch.

I also made this very pretty Brag Book

and an pic of two of the inside pages

It is so soft and pretty.  I love the old fashioned look that the Vintage Vogue stamp set lend to this project.  I felt like I was "channeling my inner Grandma" (as my SIL says).  This came together so easy using cardstock for the covers and inserts, and clear envelopes for the sleeves.  I plan on making a whole lot more for gifts throughout the year.

Happy Halloween?

Hi all!  I wanted to share with you a scrapbook page I made yesterday.  Yes, it was weird making a Halloween page in January, but as I was browsing through my photos these ones just jumped out at me.

I love everything about this page, but what I really love is that it is all done with My Digital Studio by Stampin Up!  I used one of the existing photo layouts, but then decided to tweak it a bit.  I love that I could change my background designer paper, my mat sizes, my ink colors and not waste my supplies.  Pretty nice if I do say so myself.

Canadians can order this fun and fab product for themselves from my website and clicking the "Shop Now" button.

Happy New Year

Hello Cyberworld!

Welcome to my blog.  Thank you so much for visiting me.  I hope we can get to know each other as this blog progresses.  This is my first foray into the blogging world, so please bear with me as I learn.

So, I will start out by admitting what my addiction is:

I stamp.  I stamp ALOT.  I love what you can create with rubber stamps, paper, and ink (and ribbon, and brads, and buttons and glitter . . .).  Now, there are a lot of other things that I love to do, but stamping and scrapbooking are my passion.  If you have ever stamped I am sure you know what I mean.  If you have NEVER stamped, I can hook you up ;)

So, there it is.  My first post.  It wasn´t too bad.  Maybe a little dry, but that will soon change.

Thanks for stopping by.
